College Scorecard

Current imported release: June 10, 2026. The searchable national database contains 6,734 institutions and 60,266 reportable institution–field–credential outcomes.

Coverage counts describe non-missing values in the imported federal release. Privacy suppression and cohort eligibility mean no source reports every measure for every institution or program.

IRS-derived earnings

Scorecard earnings are observed administrative outcomes calculated from privacy-protected federal tax records. They include wages and deferred compensation reported on W-2 forms plus positive self-employment earnings reported on Form 1040 Schedule SE. DegreeVerdict receives only aggregated, privacy-protected statistics—never individual tax records.

Cost provenance

The database now includes 7,687 IPEDS-reported program-price records across 2,103 institutions. These cover tuition, required fees, books and supplies for named six-digit programs in academic year 2024–25. Where no matching program price exists, institution-wide average net price remains clearly labeled as context rather than exact tuition.
